My favorite thing about this book is that it follows the characters as they grow up. We first meet Charlotte and Blake when they are young. And just as the quote below, life has ripples. We follow these two and all the ripples in their life.
"There are some that are small and fun to jump in. Others you attempt to jump over, afraid that if you land in them that they'll pull you under. In life, you have to figure out which puddles are worth the risk and which should be avoided at all costs because every choice creates a ripple."
At one point I seriously just dropped my kindle and walked away. I was left emotional. By the End Rachael tore my heart out.. This is such a marvelous book. I had a hard time trying to start another for quite a while after reading this. This story just stayed with me.
my warning - have tissues close by and don't throw your kindle.
