Provocation by Jo Michaels review

Doctor Victoria Ward has been killing men for over thirty years. Her victims all have one thing in common: they’re abusive. Righteousness is a close companion—it helps her sleep at night—and she holds the virtue closely as she defends the innocent, upholding the law when it won’t rise to protect those who need it most. When she meets a young girl named Kelly, and follows her down a twisted path of deception, Doc Ward finds herself face-to-face with a ghost from her past. Never before has she wavered in her resolve—but can she defend another against someone she loves?

***NOTE: This is a stand-alone novel in a series with crossover characters and may be read independently of the other books.

REVIEW
Honestly I love these books from this author. Book one was really good and book 2 didn't dissapont. If you are looking for a twisted and totally fucked up book pick this up! I loved every minute of reading it. I can't imagine the research that goes into one of these books...

So with this book we get Dr. Ward. A psychiatrist who kills abusive men. I really liked her character. She is a total bad ass. The book is written in multiple pov's so we get a little here and a ittle ther of the past. I enjoyed reading this book that way and it worked really well. You do not need to read these books in order to be ale to enjoy them. They are all standalones and do not require knowing what was in the other book.

I cannot wait to see what is to come from Jo Michales and this pen pals &serial killers series.

"She felt the familiar twang of righteousness bloom on her chest. She was doing something for the greater good She'd been chosen and her work in the little hidey holes was more important than what she did by sitting in her office every day."
